ALICE PASQUINI (IT) - IN BLOOM

Alice Pasquini with a trademark colourful mural in the heart of Stavanger city centre

The site-specific artwork depicts an unidentifiable woman, which Pasquini explains was important in order for the piece to resonate with as many people as possible: "I decided to make the painting without the face as this is a wall that will be seen by many people coming into and out of the city. It's a welcoming point for all types of people, so it´s important that everyone can relate to the character."

Alice Pasquini is a multimedia artist from Rome whose affectionate street art explores the brighter side of human relationships. Pasquini’s art revolves around the topics of femininity and encompasses murals, paintings and illustrations which tell stories about various acts of kindness and love.

Alice´s mural is the latest in a series of Nuart-produced artworks at key entry and exit points at the city´s main transport hubs, incluidng Sola international airport and Stavanger harbour. Alice follows Snik (UK) and Martin Whatson (NO) & Sandra Chevrier (CA) in producing new work that we hope will enhance the regions reputation as an international ‘hub’ and destination for Street Art culture.
