Christian Omodeo (IT/FR) is a freelance curator and bookseller based in Paris, where he runs Le Grand Jeu, an agency, bookstore and documentation center devoted to street cultures.
He is co-writer of the 2018 film, The Man Who Stole Banksy and will be introducing an exclusive screening of the film and hosting a post film Q&A.

He worked at the National Institute of History of Art from 2005 to 2010 on the “Directory of Italian paintings in French public collections (XIII-XIX centuries).” In parallel, he prepared a doctoral thesis on the painter Vincenzo Camuccini (1771-1844), supported in 2011 at the Paris-Sorbonne University under the direction of Barthélémy Jobert. From 2010-2012, he taught at the University of Picardie Jules Verne, Amiens, before collaborating in 2013 with the Fesch Museum of Ajaccio in the exhibition project “The Roman people of the Republic in the first unit : between myth and history.”
Since 2008 he focused his interest on urban art and graffiti, working as an expert artistic advisor, curator and critic. After curating the first edition of the festival “Outdoor” in Rome in 2010 he helped draft the “Tour Paris 13” (2013) and has collaborated with several galleries (LJ Gallery, Paris; Galo Art Gallery Turin Wunderkammern , Rome) and public and private institutions. He has to his credit two books: What’s Hogre? (Mondo Bizzarro, 2012) and C215 : A master stencilist (Criteria, 2014) and currently leads discussion on issues identified by the presence of graffiti in public space.
