CULTURAL QUICKSAND.
Inspired by an a conversation about the lack of qucksand we'd have experienced growing up, as it seemed to be on every other TV program at one point as a child. It was discussed in hushed tones in school corridors, what was the best way to escape it, lay flat, spread your body weight, swim, lasso a wild horse and get dragged out. It was feared more than pending nuclear annihilation. I thought for sure knowing these techniques would be an invaluable life skill growing up. Turned out it was as much use as algebra. Anyway, I thought I'd stop the idea haunting us and fix it.
