We are very pleased to introduce Nafir as this year's artist who wants to share his knowledge and engage youth in Nuartfestivalens stencil workshop. Nafir will show his impeccable stencil cutting technique at Metropolis, Stavanger's ungdomshus, Saturday, September 5 at. 12-17. Nafir is a self-taught Iranian artist born in Tehran, where works are influenced by traditional Iranian art and culture. His art focuses mainly on social problems in Iran or elsewhere in the world. He has a unique way of painting multilayered stencils very quickly, and will show you how you can cut and adjust the image using only one layer stencil. Nafir joins a long list of international artists who have participated in our educational programs and workshops including Swoon, Chris Stain, Dan Witz, Logan Hicks, Brad Downey, Icy & Sot and many more.
Nuart makes sure you have everything you need to draw, cut and spray your own design.
