STENCIL WORKSHOP WITH NAFIR
Following the success of 2014's stencil workshop with the Iranian artists Icy & Sot, fellow countryman and stencil artist Nafir led a group of Stavanger 16-22 year olds on an in-depth practical workshop. The final outcome was there for all to see at Stavanger's Geoparken.

About:
Nafir is a self-taught artist born in Iranian, Tehran. His art is influenced by traditional Iranian art and culture, and focuses mainly on social problems in Iran or elsewhere in the world. He has a unique way of painting multilayered stencils very quickly, and demonstrates how to cut and adjust an image using just a single layer stencil. Nafir joins a long list of international artists who have participated in Nuart's educational programs and workshops including Swoon, Chris Stain, Dan Witz, Logan Hicks, Brad Downey, Icy & Sot and many more.
This workshop was fully booked in just 2 days.
