The Myhregaarden Hotel and it's location has a lot of history: a farmhouse and a liquor distillery originally stood on the site from 1835-1900 before today's brick building was built in 1901. Expanded in 1905-1906 by John G. Myhre it was until 1966 Stavanger largest privately owned house, which Myhre ran a dye works and later a laundry. In 2000, the building was converted into offices before Myhregaarden Hotel took over in 2008 and quickly established itself as one of Stavanger's leading boutique hotels.
The Myhregaarden consists of 53 rooms including 6 singles, 40 doubles and 7 junior suites. Myhregaarden Hotel has a personal feel and since 2010 also offers beautiful private apartments in the center of Stavanger.
