EDWIN TAKES ON CLIMATE CHANGE.
Edwin is a London based artist who found fame in calling out the shady politics of London's rich and powerful with words on walls. Looking at his witticisms, the delivery harks back to ‘the writings on the wall" of 70’s London as documented by Roger Perry in his book of the same name - mix this with the social engagement of Nuart alumni and steet art pioneer John Fekner, and a pinch of humour ala David Shrigley, and you have the foundations of Edwin. For his stay at Nuart, he meticulously researched sea level rises over the coming decades and presented the results back to the city by marking with warnign tape and paint, just how much of it is likely to be under water if these estimates prove to be correct.
