NUART X VITENFABRIKKEN SCIENCE MUSEUM, SANDNES
Vitenfabrikken Science Museum in Sandnes has created an 'urban garden' with the help of Nuart and the artist Hama Woods.
The new ‘green lung’ space replaces Vitenbraken’s concrete forecourt and provides a sanctuary for visitors, residents and passersby to meet, relax, play and explore. Hama Woods’ stencils adorn the surrounding walls and fly from flagpoles over the area to provide a discreet visual presence in this miniature oasis.
The new garden is being introduced to increase biodiversity in the area and preserve excess water from heavy rainfall.
Nuart is a proud to support the project, which illustrates Sandnes’ efforts to introduce green initiatives into urban planning.
