THE NUART COLOURING BOOK
Nuart is stepping up to support the community
As part of Nuart's "Lockdown" Edition, the Stavanger based street art organisation has teamed up with London design agency Studio Bergini to produce the world's first "Street Art Tour" colouring book. This local colouring book with a difference is designed for kids (and parents) struggling with a lockdown summer. Packed with unique designs from some of the world's leading street artists, the book serves multiple purposes suitable for kids, families and larger organised groups. The book features 30 designs from Nuart's walls, traced and reprinted. Children are encouraged to create their own colour schemes for some of the cities largest murals.
The colouring book is designed to inspire and engage kids toward civic engagement from an early age and will form a "tour" of works that families can take together, either before colouring or after. The project aims to stimulate creativity and inspire artistic interpretation. Coloured designs can be cut out and displayed or kept for an aspiring young portfolio of work that can be kept and shared.
The last page contains a sketch of the city Silos where kids can design their own mural and tag it #nuartsilo for Instagram.
We can't wait to see what people come up with.
